Set up support networks - The Golden Rule
Let's get through the coronavirus crisis together. Set up networks of friends, relatives and neighbors to help each other with trips to stores, doctor appointments and so forth. Help each other by sharing the latest information on the virus, such as closures, lockdowns, etc.
A network could include many people but breaking them down into smaller groups, with someone appointed at the lead contact, will help distribute the effort. Check up on each other with phone calls and or texts. Remember that many elderly people have landline phones only so they cannot receive texts. Check on relatives and friends in other cities and states and countries by email, phone, Whatsapp, etc.
The Golden Rule: Jesus said it! - "Do to
others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence
of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12 (NLT)
