Brenda Weltner demystifies the End Times, and she is ‘all in’ on the dates

By Brenda Weltner’s count, the Biblical calendar is upon us, and she’s posting videos about the Apocalypse on YouTube with the greatest of urgency. Among her numerous videos is one titled “Revelation 101.” Her 590-page book “A Kingdom of Priests: The Stories of Revelation,” published this year, asserts that Christians will serve as kings and priests in heaven before the much heralded mega wedding feast takes place. She also contends that there will be three raptures before Jesus Christ returns to begin His millennial reign on the earth. So, when is the rapture? How about September 24, 2020, which falls on the Day of Atonement of the Hebrew calendar.

Weltner’s views on how the End Times will play out are shaking up the evangelical Christian crowd. She’s attracted her share of  internet critics who seem to prefer more familiar interpretations of the rapture, the judgments, and the Day of the Lord. Most evangelicals differ on their interpretations of the apocalyptic account that is filled with visions and symbols. Weltner stands apart as an unorthodox but appealing Bible scholar. She is a homemaker who lives in Idaho, a grandmother, devoted wife, and longtime Bible studies leader. Her teaching style, like that of a youth Sunday School teacher, is disarmingly matter-of-fact. She uses simple, down home language that anyone can understand. Yet, she is right up there with the best of the internet circuit preachers and teachers who also draw prophetic timelines on boards for their class.

Weltner believes the real End Times countdown began with an astronomical alignment known as the Revelation 12:1-2 sign, which occurred September 23, 2017. After years of research and checking what others taught, she decided to start from zero, this time asking the Holy Spirit to open her understanding of Revelation. Is it possible to bypass seminary and outdo decades of dispensational doctrinaires? Amazon Prime Video recently featured a docudrama about Hildegard von Bingen, a 12^th Century Roman Catholic abbess who reportedly relied on the Holy Spirit to understand the scriptures [“St. Hildegard: Trumpet of God”; 2015]. Historians say that in addition to music compositions and other writings, the nun experienced End Times visions which church officials asked her to record. As a result of her unmistakable spiritual gifts, Hildegard was allowed to preach in German villages, all unheard of back then for a woman in a patriarchal church society. A lack of formal religious education did not hold back the late American evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman, who also claimed to rely on the Holy Spirit to teach her the ways of the Lord. At some stage of the legendary evangelist’s ministry, untold numbers of healing miracles began to occur. Pastors of all backgrounds, sensing perhaps that God’s seal of approval rested on Kuhlman, invited her to speak in their churches. This included pastors from denominations that normally did not permit women to preach.

Glorification

The next big thing on the calendar, Weltner says, is the glorification of the saints, which she believes will occur around September 18, 2020 (Rosh Hashana) - some 10 days before the rapture on September 28 (Day of Atonement in the Hebrew calendar). “Glorification is the big deal in the New Testament, not the rapture,” she says. Weltner contends this period will give Christians, in their newly glorified bodies, an unprecedented opportunity to minister to others. She points out that a glorified Jesus Christ spent 40 days on the earth after His resurrection and before His ascension. Weltner furthermore teaches that Revelation points to multiple raptures during different stages of the End Times. She does not believe that humanity will undergo seven straight years of pounding “tribulation” before the return of Jesus in 2024.

“If there was no ‘tribulation’ in the scriptures, the way it was commonly understood - all the various brands of eschatology that had ‘tribulation’ in their identifier: pre-tribulation, post-tribulation, mid-tribulation - were built on sand,” Weltner says in an online interview. “That was a game-changer for me, and I decided to scratch what I thought I knew and start over again.” And “While doing dishes one evening, the thought crossed my mind that the Second coming of Christ was actually on a known date. The scriptures told us that He would come 1,260 days or 42 months after the abomination of desolation.” For Weltner, who was fascinated with Bible prophecy since becoming a Christian in the early 1970s, the insights kept coming.

Inevitably, the societal ravages of Covid-19 prompted many people, including pastors, to turn to Revelation for answers. A Lifeway survey earlier this year indicated that 56 percent of pastors believe that the Second Coming will occur in their lifetime Despite that finding, pastors did not teach often on Revelation. High-profile ministers on television and social media platforms waited months into the coronavirus lockdown to begin addressing the crisis in light of the End Times. Another Bible teacher on YouTube (TimFoster405) shared in a video that ministers may worry that focusing on End Times studies may hurt their collection plates. Over the centuries, different dates for the End of the World have come and gone. In recent times, the late radio evangelist Harold Camping came up with failed dates in 1994, 2005 and 2011.

Weltner does not claim to be a prophet and says she does not base her dates on current events but on the Bible. How will she respond if September rolls around and nothing transpires? “I’m not just setting a date for the (first) rapture, I’m setting dates for EVERYTHING, except for the one unknown date -  the rapture which will take place just prior to the Day of the Lord – the third rapture, according to the book of Revelation,” Weltner says. “I’m ‘all in ‘There is no Plan B.” Weltner, who classifies herself as a “believer in Jesus Christ,” will continue sharing her Bible from knowledge until the end. If nothing else, her views offer fresh alternatives to the others.

     Sueños y visiones proféticas

 

Según varios mensajeros proféticos, hay una gran probabilidad de que se produzcan grandes conmociones en la nación y en el mundo entre septiembre y diciembre. Por eso, lee el post completo que preparé para ti:

Numerosos mensajes basados en sueños y visiones sobre los Tiempos Finales están circulando, más aún desde que el virus corona apareció en la escena. Algunos santos (creyentes cristianos) han compartido mensajes similares durante décadas. Empecé a soñar con el Regreso de Jesucristo, el Rapto y temas relacionados, durante el año pasado. No los pedí, y no creo que debamos pedir tales sueños o visiones. No debemos basar nuestras vidas en sueños o visiones. No deben tomar el lugar de la palabra escrita de Dios. Pero, si el Señor decide impartir tales sueños, que así sea.

Los sueños o visiones sobre asuntos espirituales provienen de una de las tres fuentes: nuestra imaginación, el enemigo de nuestras almas, o del Señor. Hay ejemplos en la Biblia de cómo el Señor usó los sueños en algunos casos para advertir a las personas o para revelar ciertas cosas. El Señor advirtió a José en un sueño de huir a Egipto con Jesús y María porque Herodes quería matar al niño Jesús (Mateo 2:13). José (el del Antiguo Testamento) soñó que sus hermanos se inclinarían ante él algún día, lo que de hecho ocurrió (Génesis 37:5-10). Jacob tuvo un sueño maravilloso en el que vio ángeles subiendo y bajando una escalera al cielo (Génesis 28:10-17). ¿Por qué no puedo tener un sueño así???

De todos modos, el virus corona ha llevado a muchas iglesias y ministros, finalmente, a enseñar y predicar sobre el Regreso de Jesucristo. Uno de los errores cometidos en el pasado es que esta temporada - la era de los tiempos finales - era generalmente tratada como algo aterradora y el Libro del Apocalipsis, con todo su simbolismo, era visto como ininteligible para el normal de la iglesia, así como para muchos pastores. Después de todo, Juan el Apóstol dejó claro que el libro se basaba en una serie de visiones que Jesús le dio sobre el final de esta era. Sin embargo, el Regreso de Jesucristo es algo por lo que emocionarse. Es la siguiente gran cosa en el calendario profético del Señor.

El Señor prometió un Salvador y vino. Jesús dijo que moriría en la cruz y sería resucitado de entre los muertos, y sucedió. Jesús dijo que volvería, ¿y por qué no volvería como lo prometió? Con Su regreso - Jerusalén será la zona cero para esto - Jesús establecerá Su reinado milenario en la tierra. Imagínese: mil años de gobierno dirigidos por Jesucristo. Después de eso, habrá una tierra nueva y un nuevo cielo. Los santos - todos los que siguen a Jesucristo - tienen un futuro increíble y fabuloso para mirar hacia adelante. Es importante leer la Biblia por ustedes mismos, Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento. Es importante "probar los espíritus" (1 Juan 4:1-6). Es importante no apagar ni obstaculizar la obra del Espíritu Santo (1Tesalonicenses 5:19) despreciando profecías genuinas o burlándose de los dones del Espíritu Santo. Estamos en medio de una batalla cósmica, la mayoría de la cual no podemos ver con nuestros ojos naturales, pero que es tan real como cuando nos levantamos por la mañana y encender la cafetera para comenzar el día. Hay muchos eventos sobrenaturales registrados en la Biblia, Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, por lo que no podemos negar que lo sobrenatural existe.

Este fue un preámbulo de la compilación de mensajes proféticos - de diferentes mensajeros - que planeo compartir en los próximos días. Muchos de los mensajes son similares, a pesar de que provienen de cristianos evangélicos, católicos y rabinos judíos. También hemos tenido informes de Jesús revelándose en sueños a personas de religiones no judeocristianas. Algunos de ustedes recordarán el viejo susto Y2K del año 2000. En ese entonces, no creía que Y2K fuera un precursor de la Tribulación. Tenía amigos que si lo creían. Hice mucha investigación antes del Día D, y sentí en mi espíritu que nada relacionado con Y2K iba a suceder. Hoy en día, las cosas son diferentes, y no sólo por el virus corona. Realmente hemos entrado en una temporada profética, y las cosas que suenden al mundo tal como lo conocemos pueden suceder repentinamente.

Según varios mensajeros proféticos, es muy probable que se produzcan grandes conmociones en la nación y en el mundo entre septiembre y diciembre. Esto significa que la mayoría de las personas tienen el mes de agosto para prepararse física y espiritualmente.

El virus Corona fue una llamada de atención, y diferentes personas reaccionaron al bloqueo global de manera diferente. Es hora de orar sinceramente y preguntarle al Señor acerca de estas cosas. Todos tenemos que orar acerca de cómo y lo que nosotros y nuestras familias debemos hacer. La guía debe venir del Señor, y será diferente para todos. Lo más importante que podemos hacer es acercarnos al Señor (Salmos 91).

Si no conoces a Jesús, entonces no lo pospongas otro día. Conviértelo a tu Señor y Salvador hoy. Si conoces a Jesús, entonces es hora de poner tu casa espiritual en orden. El encierro nos permitió la oportunidad de unirnos y alinearnos con el Señor. El no está más lejos que una oración. Llegará el momento, se acerca, cuando será demasiado tarde.

Hechos 2: 38-41 (NTV):

³⁸ Pedro contestó:

—Cada uno de ustedes debe arrepentirse de sus pecados y volver a Dios, y ser bautizado en el nombre de Jesucristo para el perdón de sus pecados. Entonces recibirán el regalo del Espíritu Santo. ³⁹ Esta promesa es para ustedes, para sus hijos y para los que están lejos, es decir, para todos los que han sido llamados por el Señor nuestro Dios.

⁴⁰ Entonces Pedro siguió predicando por largo rato, y les rogaba con insistencia a todos sus oyentes: «¡Sálvense de esta generación perversa!».

⁴¹ Los que creyeron lo que Pedro dijo fueron bautizados y sumados a la iglesia en ese mismo día, como tres mil en total.
