Bible End Times Prophecy – Week 50/Updaed
Revelation 14: 6-7 (CSB)
– “Then I saw another angel flying high overhead, with the eternal gospel to
announce to the inhabitants of the earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and
people. 7 He spoke with a loud voice: “Fear God and give him glory,
because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship the one who made heaven and
earth, the sea and the springs of water.”

The Lord used prophets and angels to communicate with
people and announce important events. Some of the major prophets in the Old
Testament include people like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel. The Old
Testament also includes minor prophets who authored shorter book, such as Amos,
Joel and Jonah, among others.
It is interesting that the Lord anointed certain prophets
to share information with the Jewish nation despite the fact that the Jews had
Levite priests who served in the temple. Why? Had corruption tainted the priestly
ranks? The Lord also complained about “false prophets,” which are referred to in
the Old and New Testaments.
The Lord sent an angel, Gabriel, to prophesy about the
birth and mission of John the Baptist (Luke 1:11-17) and about the divine
birth and mission of Jesus Christ (Luke 1:26—38).
According to Revelation
14:6-7, an angel will proclaim the Gospel to people who are alive during the
End Times Tribulation. Why? Possibly, and this is speculating, because the Christians
(who obeyed and trusted Jesus) will have been “raptured”* by then and there
will be a great need for the salvation message to go out during the antichrist’s
reign on the earth.
Another angel will be sent during the Tribulation to warn people
who turn to the Lord against accepting the mark of the beast. It’s a dire
warning:
Revelation 14: 9-12 – “And
another, a third angel, followed them and spoke with a loud voice: “If anyone
worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his
hand,
10 he will also drink the
wine of God’s wrath, which is poured full strength into the cup of his anger.
He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and
in the sight of the Lamb,
11 and the smoke of their
torment will go up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the
beast and its image, or anyone who receives the mark of its name.
12 This calls for
endurance from the saints, who keep God’s commands and their faith in Jesus.”
The last prophets? During the tribulation, the Lord will send His two witnesses, which could be Enoch and Elijah, and His 144,000 Jewish servants to spread the Gospel message. More on them later.
