Matthew 24:4-8 (KJV)
- 4 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no
one deceive you.
5 For many shall come in
my name, saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of
wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled, for it is necessary that
all these things must take place; but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise
against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences
and earthquakes in different places.
8 All these are
the beginning of sorrows.”
Prophecy news update
Here is a summary of the prophetic visions and dreams that Christians
have reported over recent years and in recent weeks and months. They tend to be
the same things over and over again.
Some of the earliest dreams and visions regarding major earthquake(s)
and tsunamis in the U.S. go back to 2010. Separate events will cause tsunamis on
the west and east coasts.
Due to major seismic events, the U.S. could end up divided
along the New Madrid fault (Mississippi River).
The possibility of a war in the Middle East region
involving the U.S. has come up in recent times repeatedly. Pray for U.S.
service members serving in that part of the world. Pray for wisdom on the part
of leaders who will decide what action would be taken.
My own impressions are that something big will occur that
affects our nation. It will happen suddenly, and it will be a precursor to
other unfortunate events that will occur in rapid succession.
What can we do?
Be ready to meet the Lord at any time. This is not the same
as fear-mongering – the kind we saw with the Y2K scare of 2000.
Live each day as if it matters.
Draw near to the Lord. Read the Bible, pray and watch.
Be reconciled to others. Do not hold on to grudges or unforgiveness.
Get your household in order. We should do that anyway.
I’m
as ready as humanly possible to stay or go. Whatever the Lord decides is best
is what I want for me.
More prophecy news updates will be provided as they come up.
Shalom!
