Redeem your God-given time - Psalm 139:16

There are various ways to measure time such as the sun dial
which follows the sun’s positions, the moon that orbits the earth in near monthly
cycles, and the traditional clock with its hands that move clockwise.
The hourglass, though, allows us to see that time is limited
and eventually runs out. There are the seasons of life, from birth to death, but
life itself has an ending.
The Bible says the Lord has counted our days and only He
knows how many we have left. Let us therefore redeem – make the best use of -
the time we have left.
Make your God-given time count for eternity.
Scriptures
Psalm 139:16: “All the days
ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Job 14:5: “A person’s days are
determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he
cannot exceed.”
Psalm 90:12: “So teach us to
number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.”
Ephesians 5:16: “…redeeming
the time, because the days are evil.”
